Back on September 25, 2021, Lisa Shafer (wife of Oily Boys and Zippers bassist, Brent Shafer) asked me if I would be interested in writing some music to go with some country lyrics that she had written. I replied that I’m no country artist but I would be happy to give it a try! So as you listen, keep in mind that these great storylines are from a woman’s perspective, with me just trying to bring them to life musically.
